Every now and again, I get stuck on a couple of products that I just love and stick to them for a while. I guess this is rather common though, which is ironic for beauty lovers who always wants to buy new things. Go figure!
So, here’s what I’ve been using lately:
For my base, I’ve really been loving the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless foundation in Medium One, Punjab. Till now this is definitely one of my all time favourites. Super lightweight, yet such good coverage without needing much product. If you love a flawless finish, this one’s for you.
My outbreaks have finally almost all gone, however I’m still turning to MAC’s Studio Finish Concealer in NC30. It’s thick, yet not cakey and covers imperfections really well. Not recommended for the under eye area though – might be too heavy and crease.
After many years, I’ve once again, gone back on to loose powders. I really use to dislike these, however we’ve been using these a lot throughout the make up course and I have to admit, they really do make all the difference. If applied with a powder puff, you’ll notice a significant increase in make up lasting time! Definitely give it a go to see.
I’ve been using Phito Studio’s Rice Powder in number 6. It adds a bit of colour to my complexion and make up doesn’t budge for hours.
For eyes, I’ve gone back on Jordana’s Best Lash Extreme Volumising Mascara. I like this cause it’s super black, and really lengthens and thickens out the lashes.
I’ve fallen in love again with my Milani blushers. I mean, how could you not? These are beyond beautiful, highly pigmented, long lasting and so affordable!
I like mixing the two shades: Deliciozo Pink on the apples of my cheeks, and Luminoso over the cheek bones, blending everything in together.
With lipsticks, of course there is MAC. Once again I’m loving Blankety, a really cute pink shade (it came across a bit darker in the photo – see here for more swatches).
Any of you tried these? What are your current favourites?

Firstly, I’m so annoyed that your posts don’t seem to be showing up on my feed! I’m *just* getting caught up now! I apologize.
Onto your favourites – YES, those Milani baked blushes are just divine! I hope they release more matte colours.
A question: do you have any local cosmetics brands in Malta? Is Phito Studio a local brand? I’d love to see more if you have any!
