I just love a bit of sparkle and the festive season is the perfect time to really take advantage of this!
The Zoeva brand is well known for its marvellous make up brushes, but its make up is not to be forgotten either! The range isn’t extensive but it’s good and worth trying out.
This leads me to a couple of eye pigments that I purchased earlier on this year: Goldiva (bright gold), Bitter & Sweet (black with silver specs) and Champagne Beige (earthy brown with gold specs).
Each of these lovely pots of sparkle weigh a mere 1.1g and come in a transparent container with a see-through lid; thereby making it easy to see which is which in your collection.
These are also all packed securely in a cute little cardboard box that has the shade name printed at the top.
All three shades are highly pigmented and very long lasting. For increased staying-on power, an eye primer is recommended and also a bit of water or fix spray can be used when applying to the eye. Not only will this last longer but it will also intensify the colour.
Each pot retails for €5.80 each and as they are so highly pigmented, a little goes a very long way which makes these last for ages.
I love adding Goldiva to the inner corner or lid of the eye, Champagne Beige to the lid and Bitter & Sweet to the outer V or as an intense liner. A super dramatic eye look that’s great for a night out!
What pigments have you been using lately?

Stunning combinations and it is perfect to wear during Christmas and moreover, it is more tend to resemble eye shadow pigments from MAC.

I didn’t know Zoeva made pigments! That Bitter & Sweet is SO deep and pigmented – wow! As much as I like the idea of pigments, I find them so messy. I have a bunch of loose eye shadows and I rarely reach for them! I really should… they’re so pretty.

Yes true they can be messy but they leave such a beautiful effect! They stick on much better with water or fix spray so it might be a little easier to use that way 🙂

I do have some fixer liquids (one from Inglot) but I keep forgetting to use them! 😛 I should set them out and challenge myself to use them.
